Experience
Have successfully tutored college level students for over 5 years significantly raising their grades through better study habits, clearer explanations of grammar concepts and useful practice and exercises. In addition, I have taught as a substitute teacher on occasion. I have taken every class that CBC has offered (sometimes more than once)including the Spanish Grammar Classes for bilinguals. Also, I have tutored and held English classes for those whose first language is Spanish. So I have gone both ways with Spanish and English with much success. I love helping students and they repeatedly have asked for me to help them. We try to always have fun and the most important thing is that my students learn. I have studied Spanish Grammar in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico and recently spent about a year in Tijuana. Also my husband is Mexican (hardly speaks English but does understand)which makes it nice if a question out of the ordinary arises. I love the Spanish language, the people and love to teach it.
