I have always been interested in foreign languages and I feel like the opportunity I've had to learn a foreign language myself has helped me to realize the special challenges that are experienced by language learners. I really enjoy helping people feel more comfortable with speaking English, particularly as regards the conversational English that is needed for everyday life in the US. When I'm not working, I am involved in volunteer work in my community. I also travel as much as I can because I love experiencing different cultures.
